CAT STEVENS RETORNA AO MUNDO DA MÚSICA POP

Yusuf Islam, 58, o cantor folk britânico antes conhecido como Cat Stevens, acaba de lançar seu primeiro álbum este ano para o grande público desde o final dos anos 1970, quando se converteu ao islamismo e abandonou a vida de astro de rock.
O novo álbum se chama An Other Cup, que antevê com prazer a perspectiva de voltar aos estúdios de gravação, se não aos concertos ao vivo.
O título do álbum e sua arte de capa, que mostra uma xícara de café que contém o oceano, são simbólicos de "algo que todos podemos compartilhar, não algo sobre o qual precisamos brigar, e isso é uma mensagem muito importante".
